Important Note
This year the garage sale is being organized differently. I don't have time to prepare and distribute all the door hangers that invite everyone to join the garage sale. So I'm emailing information to everyone I have an email for and hoping you will help spread the word.
I have prepared the door hangers and emailed them to everyone I had on my list. I will have my kids hang door hangers for all the houses on Leatherwood Lane.
If you can, please print, cut out, and distribute the door hangers on your street. But first check this blog to make sure we're not duplicating the work. Also, add a comment for the street you have done.
This year I have also opened up the garage sale to anyone living off FM 1570. I'll be placing an ad in the E-Trader inviting people to join the garage sale.
The fee is $3 and will pay for advertising.
I plan to put up a few signs in the Highland Oaks Neighborhood - but other streets may wish to organize and place your own signs. You can use this blog to organize such activities.
Everyone who signs up is also welcome to post to the blog describing what they have for sale at their location. I'll have to add your email address to the blog for you to be able to make new posts. Please include your email address when you sign up - and I'll add you to the blog.
A link to this blog will be included in the advertising in the Herald Banner.
